The EWG Knights welcomes all football players ages 4 – 14, football players cannot turn 15 before August 31st. We are a age based league and there are weight limits. But there is a league Mandatory Play rule that ensures that every child will play!
Flag players are non competitive. The Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Varsity and Varsity Football teams have the opportunity to compete in the RI PreTeen State Championships
The Knights Provide:
Helmet
First Mouth Guard
Shoulder Pads
Integrated Practice Pants and Practice Jersey
Integrated Game Pants and Game Jersey
The above items are property of the EWG Knights and must be returned at the end of the season.
Parents Provide:
Athletic Cup and Supporter
Cleats – (Metal Cleats are NOT allowed)
Mouth Guard – (Available for $1 – If your child has braces you need to contact your orthodontist to obtain an athletic mouthpiece)
These things are required, the player will not be allowed to participate without these items.
Optional Equipment: Rib pads, Arm Pads, Padded Elbow Sleeve and/or Football Gloves
